Week of Prayer Day 1

Today began our Week of Prayer, and here are some of the things our students wrote about to tell us what they learned about grace. Grace has more than one side. Love helps. Teamwork helps. Kindness helps. God forgave us, so we should forgive others and be kind to them. We can’t help others to change without God working through us. We all need forgiveness, and God wants us to forgive others. We are like prickly rocks, but when many friends give us grace and kindness, we become smooth and soft; kind and loving. All these things come from Jesus.

Our discussion was based around the story "Chester Racoon and the Big Bad Bully." A children's story that shows what happens when you share grace with others.
