October 7 was our second day of Week of Prayer. We learned about a new side of grace: learning experiences. Our students shared the following concepts and lessons they learned:

Grace does not always mean the absence of consequences. In His grace God give us experiences, sometimes in the form of consequences, to help us learn and grow (Hebrews 12: 5-11). While we experience some of sin’s consequences here on earth, Jesus took the full punishment. He gave us grace by dying and taking our place on the cross. He forgives all our sins. He wipes our sins away (Psalms 103: 8-12). His grace is something we don’t deserve, but He gives it to us because He loves us more than we can imagine. Always be grateful for grace.

"For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
so great is his love for those who fear him;
as far as the east is from the west,
so far has he removed our transgressions from us."

Psalm 103: 11, 12
